Whispers of ice
clouding up the
frigid morning,
yellow light breaking
timidly from beyond
the distant horizon;
Tendrils of warmth
reaching out like
beckoning fingers
into the empty
grey dawn hours.
Clouds of copper
bronze and steel
roll in,
mutterings of dis-
content echoing
calling then roaring
pictures of passion
longing, destruction.
Hush! a break --
eyes unfocused,
addled from slumber,
gaze beyond
fragile window panes.
The silence draws
poison to lungs
expelling oxygen
tissue wailing
fighting consuming
from clenched
bellies and thighs
irises swelling
tendons contracting
cramping spasming.

her body she was bathed
in warm sunlight
filtering through the

and was met with the
fluttering of the butterflies,
the gentle whispering
of the summer breeze and
the melody of a hummingbird.
Let there be enduring peace
she implored,
and before her very eyes
vines grew up over the trees
without competition, then
a ladybug sat beside her
without fear of being crushed.

take me home
when you want me
this will be my
last resistance
and you will be my
anesthesia
so i won't feel any pain
pinch my cheeks
so i can fake a smile
i am tired of being sober
and unwell when i'm clean
with stars freckled
is my delirium
so bright that it is blinding
waste my time
is makes no difference
whether i waste it
on my own
or close to you
my lethargy
i hope we'll rot in peace
fuck me hard
and lick my sweat
scratch my back
when you feel love
and sigh into my ear
nymphomaniac
your skin and flesh are mine

"I cannot die," he said, and
that was all I knew of him.
It was October then, so I
pinned the last firefly to his sweater
and told him the fever would break.
"It will not," he said. We kept
that secret just between us and
never breathed a word.
One morning I crept home
and painted pictures for an hour
before he flew silently into
my room. "Your prison looks
just like mine," he said. That day
we made too many promises
to count on our twenty freckled fingers
and crushed each one with the same
four hands. The black dove tattooed
on his wrist just grinned at me, with
thick feathers on fragile skin
and perfect w
As we lay there quiet
I was reminded of all the reasons why I lust you
Your smile,
and the way it teased at me seductively
Your laugh,
and the way it tempted me
Your eyes,
and the way they seem to hypnotize me
As we sat there silent
I was reminded of all the reasons why I love you
Your smile,
and the way it brings such life into me
Your laugh,
and the way it makes everything okay
Your eyes,
and the way them seems to read my thoughts
As we stand here now
I am reminded of all the reasons why I hate you
Your smile,
and the way it confuses me
Your laugh,
and the way it seems to mock me
Your eyes,
and the way they can look i
So, I emerge from the underbelly. It's been a long road out and I'm still not nearly half way there.
I have no idea how many of my old dA friends still exist on here so if you're here drop me a note and let me know!
